Willowbank Place, Send opens its doors

News | 21 May 2024

Local housebuilder Elivia Homes has launched its exclusive collection of 15 homes at Willowbank Place in Send.

Dozens of prospective home hunters attended the launch event at the development on Send Road, with two houses already sold. Visitors were treated to the first exclusive look at the stunning ‘Newark’ four-bedroom showhome, designed by Claude Hooper Interiors.

The half-brick, half-timber homes combine characterful architecture with modern and sustainable features. Each and every one boasts an air source heat pump, EV charging port and underfloor heating. The Home Builders Federation (HBF), recently reported that new build homes on average save 55% in annual energy costs for a singular household, equating to £184 per month or £2,200 per year, as well as omitting 61% less carbon than an older house1.

Designed to offer something for everyone, Willowbank Place comprises high quality and energy efficient homes, ranging from two-bedroom terraced to four-bedroom detached houses, with prices starting at £595,000.

Helen Smith, Regional Sales and Marketing Director for Elivia Homes Central, comments: “Willowbank Place offers a wide breadth of property types, perfect for a range of buyers at each rung of the housing ladder. The area provides a great mix of rural countryside living, with all the necessary amenities and travel links just a stone’s throw away.

“We’re really excited to have opened the doors of our showhome to showcase the homes available here and the high standard of quality, design and energy efficiency we ensure in each house.

“With just 15 homes for sale, I’d urge you to visit Willowbank Place as soon as possible to get the pick of your preferred home and kickstart the new community we’re creating here in Send.”

Nestled in countryside setting close to the River Wey, Send offers a charming selection of small independent stores and pubs, and a number of walking, cycling and horse-riding routes along the many local waterways, and is within a short distance to the North Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Neighbouring Woking and Guildford offer more comprehensive shopping and leisure facilities including a choice of high street shop, supermarkets, restaurants, bars, leisure facilities and family attractions.

For families, Send Church of England Primary School and nursery was rated by Ofsted as “Good”, and Woking is home to the independent pre-prep and preparatory Hoebridge School, which caters for children aged 3-13.

Transport links are in abundance near Send, with the A3 & M25 junctions just 10 minutes away. The nearest railway stations are at Clandon, on the Guildford Line, and Woking, on the South West Main Line, which both offer frequent direct services to London.
